Opponent of Azerbaijani chess participant revealed in World Cup’s 1/8 finals



BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 11. Opponent of
Azerbaijani chess participant Nijat Abasov on the World Cup in Baku has
been revealed, Pattern reviews.

Abasov will face Salem Saleh (UAE) within the fifth spherical of the
World Cup in Baku (1/8 finals amongst males).

The primary recreation of the fifth spherical will happen on August
12.

The beginning record of the World Chess Cup of the Worldwide
Chess Federation (FIDE) in Baku included 206 chess gamers within the
open part and 103 within the girls’s part.

For the second time, Azerbaijan is internet hosting the Chess World Cup.
For the primary time, the highest three opponents from the open and
girls’s classes will earn a spot within the 2024 Males’s Candidates
Match and Girls’s Candidates Match, respectively.

On the competitors’s official web site, matches from the FIDE
World Cup-2023 are broadcast in each Azerbaijani and English.

The World Chess Cup is being held at Marriott Boulevard in
Baku.

Mammadov, Gadir Huseynov, Vasif Durarbayli, Nijat Abbasov, Abdulla
Gadimbayli, Misratdin Isgandarov, Muhammad Muradli, Vugar Asadli,
Riad Samadov, Aydin Suleymanli, Ulviyya Fataliyeva, Gulnar
Mammadova, Khanim Balajayeva, and Govhar Beydullayeva.
